Job Title:     Group Finance Analyst
Location:      Bogota, Colombia
Job Type:    Mid-Senior Level

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support SOTG overseas affiliates assigned by management to ensure cross-communications with Seaboard Corp policies
• Review overseas affiliates monthly and year end audit financial reporting
• Maintain communication and liaise with the Seaboard partners of assigned affiliates
• Assist SOTG VP finance on review for approval of appropriation requests
• Provide training to FD’s of assigned SOTG affiliates in order to comply with SOTG requirements and Policies.
• Visit overseas affiliates on an as-needed basis
• Review overseas affiliates internal controls compliance with SOTG policies
• Provide tax knowledge/vision to maintain Seaboard tax efficiency
• Review all budgets of SOTG assigned affiliates
• Review currency derivative accounting for SOTG
• Assure SOX compliance in assigned affiliates
•  Provide support upon request to Group Controller during quarter close as it relates to legal representative review, specific review of affiliate financials, foreign currency analysis, etc.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree, Accounting
• 5+ years’ experience in finance and accounting
• US CPA required
• Must be fluent in Spanish, Portuguese a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience with monthly financial reporting, manufacturing/cost accounting

• Must be extremely organized with the ability to multi-task on multiple diverse projects at one time
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees, partners, suppliers, vendors
• Must be willing and able to travel domestically or internationally approximately 25-50% of the time
• Must be willing to work independently and communicate with appropriate affiliates staff
• Must be a self-starter with a hands-on attitude
• Must be extremely analytical with strong problem-solving skills
• Leadership skills to include the ability to project an image of confidence and competence when speaking and collaborating with others
