How long have you worked for Eurogerm South Africa?
I have worked for Eurogerm since June 2013.
What are your responsibilities?
I am currently managing Eurogerm South Africa. We have twelve employees in Durban, South Africa, which include: temporary staff, an employee in Johannesburg and another in Cape Town doing sales. Overall, I oversee the whole business.
What is your history/career path with Eurogerm?
I started my career with Eurogerm in Morocco in 2007 within an affiliate. Then, I joined Eurogerm in France and followed subsidiaries and key accounts in Africa from 2011. Thereafter, in 2013 I created and managed the Joint Venture with Seaboard (Eurogerm South Africa) in South Africa.
What do you enjoy most about working for Eurogerm?
I like that Seaboard’s top management allows you to work with a good degree of liberty. It’s a pleasure to work with a dynamic team that is not holding you back.
What’s your favorite story/memory about working for Eurogerm?
My best memory was at the most recent Management Days in Cape Town/Stellenbosch with all the Managers from Seaboard. I felt that the days were very well-organized, and we learned a lot and had a lot of fun.

I believe that Eurogerm delivers on values that include: open mindedness, commitment, helping, understanding, positiveness, honesty, ethical and professionalism.
What surprised you most about your job?
I was positively surprised by the level of education and professionalism in South Africa. The logistics in general and the port of Durban work pretty well, but of course there is always room for improvements!
How do you spend your free time? What do you like to do in the city where you live?
In my free time I like to participate in sports (running, cycling, going to gym). I recently did the half-marathon of Durban, which I was proud to finish.
I also enjoy indulging in food and wine, so I often go to restaurants and I now have a nice cellar! Also, Durban offers a lot of opportunities for sports and restaurants, so overall it’s a good city to live in.
What is your hidden talent? Or something most people don’t know about you?
One of my hidden talents is that I can draw and paint well. I used to enjoy painting when I was younger, so maybe I should get back into it!
