On Tuesday, December 18th, some CLDP team members visited the province of Chincha, Peru to continue our support Fundación La Calera. This charity seeks to develop the impoverished province of Chincha (about 3 hours south of our office in Lima, Peru). The foundation focuses on projects for the most vulnerable populations of the area—children and the elderly. In 2017, CLDP supported a program for the elderly and in 2018 supported a program for school-aged children.
A note from CLDP:
We organized gifts, treats, a Christmas show, and “Chocolatada” (a traditional Peruvian Christmas drink) to be shared with the children and their teachers. We wrapped and delivered 613 presents to the children of Chincha.
